Biography

Dr Narendra is a registered pharmacist and medicinal chemist, with doctoral training from the University of Mysore, India, and over two decades of experience spanning pharmaceutical education, research, and industry practice. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master of Pharmacy, and PhD in Medicinal Chemistry, and is formally trained in pharmaceutical sciences with certification in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

Dr Narendra has held academic appointments in Malaysia at Taylors University, SEGi University, and Management and Science University, and has contributed to pharmacy education in India, the United Kingdom, and China. His experience includes postdoctoral research at Universiti Sains Malaysia and visiting lectureships at Cardiff University, United Kingdom, and Henan University of Chinese Medicine, China. He has played active roles in professional and regulatory accreditation exercises involving the Malaysian Qualifications Agency, Lembaga Farmasi Malaysia, and the General Pharmaceutical Council, United Kingdom.

In parallel, he brings pharmaceutical industry experience in drug discovery research and manufacturing, including small molecule synthesis, formulation development, and solid dosage production. His research focuses on medicinal chemistry and computer aided drug design, integrating molecular modelling, synthesis, and in vitro evaluation to advance translational, industry engaged biomedical research aligned with 勛圖窪蹋厙s priorities in health, wellbeing, and sustainability.
